FOSTER CARE
The applicant can be (age 13-18), aged out of foster care.
CITIZENSHIP
Permanent resident of the
United States.
1ST GENERATION
The applicant can be a first-time generation minority student.
GPA AVERAGE
Students should possess a cumulative GPA of 2.50 (C+) or higher.
COLLEGE BOUND
The applicant must have an official acceptance letter from an accredited two- or four-year college/university, and vocational school.
FUNDING USAGE
The educational awards will be used to assist with tuition, books, supplies, and a laptop with a branded carrying case.
APPLICATION

Please read the application carefully and complete all sections to apply for the scholarship. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.

Two (2) letters of recommendation: one from a high school faculty or guidance counselor (on letterhead). One from a mentor or a community service organization including, information relating to your character.

Include a resume showing academic honors, extracurricular activities, skills, community service, and work experience.

Provide a recent professional headshot to be featured on Rose Scholarship Fund website if awarded a scholarship.

Include an official letter of acceptance from a college, university, or enrolled courses for vocational school.

Include an unofficial copy (with a seal) of your academic transcript (photocopies are acceptable).

Submit a double-spaced, typewritten, 12 pt./Time New Roman font essay (minimum of 400 words) answering two of the five prompts on the application.
